FAMILY SERVICES PROGRAM

Because every family is unique, FGP allows families to choose how they want to be supported. Here are some of the services we offer:

  • Meals

  • Lawn care

  • Professional house cleaning

  • Gas & grocery cards

  • Financial assistance

  • Emotional support

  • AAA and YMCA memberships, snacks, crafts, and monthly care packages

REMISSION RELIEF/ SURVIVORSHIP PROGRAM

FGP provides Remission Relief for one year post treatment, which includes:

  • Emotional support

  • Gift cards

  • Support groups

  • Care packages

  • Helping Hands Fund: reimburses families for support services needed to overcome the long-term effects of cancer and it’s treatment.

  • Annual retreat with other remission families

Survivors receive ongoing emotional support through our retreats and support groups.

STARGAZER
PROGRAM

Our Stargazers program supports families as they face end of life and beyond. FGP provides families with financial, volunteer, and emotional support during this difficult time.

End of Life:

  • $500 gift card for expenses

  • In-home support

  • Assistance organizing community support (meal deliveries, etc.)

  • Photos

Celebration of Life/Funeral:

  • Help plan and purchase items

  • Provide photos for the service

  • Volunteer support at cemetery, funeral home, and at
    celebration of life or funeral

  • Assistance with funeral costs

Grief Support:

  • Connect to grief counseling and support

  • Provide grief resources

  • Memorial items

  • Annual family retreat

  • Random Act of Kindness days

  • Cards on birthdays and anniversaries

  • Annual luncheon

PHOTOGRAPHY PROGRAM

Fairy Godmother Project's Photography Program provides complimentary portrait sessions to families in our program to capture the families’ moments, connections, and love for each other. We hold two portrait days a year, in the spring and the fall. In addition, we offer individual sessions when needed. Each session includes a canvas and all digital files.

We also provide photographers for FGP events, celebrations of life, and funerals, if requested.

Kitt Creative Photography graciously donates their renowned Santa’s Workshop Portraits to our families every year. These sessions are celebrated and cherished far and wide, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to offer this to our families.
